The CZ P-10 family grew up. CZ started with the P-10 C and decided to expand the family to include small and full-size guns. The CZ P-10 C is called a compact rifle, but I like to think of it as less than full size. It is larger than the Glock 19 and has a longer grip. It doesn't fall into the compact pistol category in my opinion. I won't lie, I wish there was a shorter grip version of the P-10 C like FN's 509M. CZ knocks it out of the park with the other two guns. CZ P-10 F and CZ P-10 S. This new family has undergone significant changes.
P10c Vs P10s
The trigger has changed slightly since the production model "Gen 1" P-10 C. It is now longer and closer to the trigger guard. The guard blade or "dingus" has also been shortened and is slightly smaller than the Gen 1 dingus.
Cz P10 Theta Trigger Kit
"Gen 2" style rifles don't trigger as much if the trigger is depressed. It is easier to adjust and avoid than the production P-10 C Gen 1 model. The trigger on the Gen 2 model also feels a little soft. They are still pulling around the same weight.
CZ introduces the P-10 series of optics-ready pistols. The optically finished pistol is manufactured by CZ-USA and is currently not manufactured by CZUB. These days, handgun optics are a more popular trend in the US than abroad. To be at the top of your game as a pistol manufacturer in the US, you need to have an optically ready series of pistols. This is the only way to compete in the market.
Traditionally, the P-10 C had to have dedicated optical cutouts for each optic. These marketplace services generally cost between $100 and $200.
CZ USA manufactures off-the-shelf optical systems equipped with flush plates as a replacement for optical off-the-shelf systems.
Tfb Exclusive: Pre Production Development Of The Cz P 10 C
The system itself is well designed and looks much closer to the actual optical part than optical off-the-shelf systems from other manufacturers. The optical panel depth is about the same, if not deeper, than the aftermarket RMR parts. This allows the optic to be more true to the pistol than having the optic higher than the bore like the Glock MOS system. In my opinion, the CZ is one of the best off-the-shelf optical systems on the market.
Factory CZUB plates occasionally appear on the CZ-USA website. CZ Custom Shop sells their own repeater optic plates, but they don't look as good as the factory ones. There are several companies that have found a way to import industrial panels from the Czech Republic. There are other companies on the market that take factory panels and manufacture them in-house. CZ-USA usually does not have products in stock. I think that the presence of the CZ P-10 series optic mounting plate would be considered one of the weaknesses of the optic-ready platform. This void creates a micro-industry around the product line.
These pictures show the new style sights installed on the CZ-USA rifle. CZ-USA made guns have no lower slide than their Czech brothers. They come with steel sights, HD tritium / orange dot front sight post and rear sight. It's a huge improvement over Czech-made aluminum guns. The Czech Gen 2 weapon is quite similar to the Gen 1 production P-10 C model.
The Gen 2 platform has released a new magazine. This change was made by a weak-handed person who couldn't survive the 1st generation of double-sided magazines. I found the double sided magazine version to be super functional and access wasn't an issue for me. This pistol is 100% ambidextrous, which is a very interesting feature.

CZ decided to go with a larger non-directional tactile magazine. Reverse for left-handed shooters. Now the system is not two-sided. As a right-handed shooter who uses newer magazine releases, I find the Gen 2 magazine easier and faster to use.
This makes the left hand more difficult. A double-edged sword when making a change like this. While I and many of my friends agree that this change is necessary to make people happy, it is a change that makes many professional shooters unhappy. Thank you to all the babies who ruin beautiful things.
Changing the magazine edition requires changing the magazine. It has the same production magazine body, but CZ has added an optional laser cutting operation. Now the magazine looks like the rear bumper of a 93 Honda Civic race car, I call it the lightning hole! With the launch of a new magazine, it is necessary to locate the new magazine.
The new magazines are available for the P-07, P-09, P-10 Gen 1, and P-10 Gen 2 series pistols. Now here's the problem anyone who's bought a dozen original P-10 C magazines has had. You should now find a machine shop or laser cutting service that can convert the magazine so you can use it on the new platform; If you want to go to a Gen 2 pistol.
Cz P10f/p10c Grip Comparison
The new P-10 Gen 2 gun is supplied with a steel guide rod. I like this change to the plastic guide rod system traditionally installed on the P-07, P-09, and P-10 C Gen 1 models. A stronger guide rod improves the mechanical accuracy of the firearm. One thing to note is that assembly is done using screws (all P-series models except the P-10 S). The introduction of screws into guide rod systems has historically been a point of failure. I recommend this Red Loctite Allen screw.
Rifle barrels made in the Czech Republic are cooled at the CZUB factory. It's amazing that this facility makes some of the best pistol grips in the world. CZ-USA barrels are made in the USA and are not cold hammer forged. Made in the USA, this barrel can currently only be found on the OR Gen 2 model. They are still high quality manufactured barrels. I think the only noticeable difference would be the very high round count of the live barrel. CZUB barrel easy 100K round number barrel. I only have about 27k on my SP-01 and no signs of wear, tear or red marks. It would be very interesting to see a comparison of US and Czech made barrel counts.
The P10 S is a small series pistol from CZ-USA and CZUB. It has an impressive 12+1 capacity. The P-10 S has the same dimensions as the P-10 C, so it can also be used in the P-10 C sheath. After carrying the P-10 S for an extended period of time, I can confidently recommend this gun as a P. -10 C with holster It hides better than the P-10 S special holster. This is because the pelvis of most men's bodies will not support a pistol with a short muzzle, and the tip of the gun will move away from the end user's body. Carrying the P-10 S in the holster of the P-10 C contacts the pelvis, so the gun is more upright on the belt. Other than this suggestion, the gun functions exactly like the P-10 C.
P-10 S slides cannot be placed in P-10 C frames with compensators. The P-10 S recoil spring assembly does not fit the P-10 C. The gun is slightly faster than the P-10 C when firing itself. The lower part of the factory magazine is too short to receive the pink paper in an almost full grip. I recommend a P-10 S post magazine base plate to increase grip length. Cz P 10 S
The P-10 F is a well made pistol. The P-10 F has a slightly longer grip than the Glock 17, making the P-10 F series a choice of duty style and good sized pistols. It has two 1913 Picatinny slots. Not sure if it's one of the two because I can't find a light that specifically fits the second slot.
The P-10 F is similar to the P-10 C, but has a longer slide and grip length. The P-10 F magazine fits and works well in both the P-10 C and P-10 S. I think this is a great optic host as well as a very versatile gun. In my opinion, the P-10 F is a bit large for comfortable and successful concealment in casual clothing in the warmer months. I'm sure it is
